Mechanism of Action
Morpheus8 uses radiofrequency (RF) technology with microneedle energy delivery to target the skin layers that need treatment. This method avoids excessive heat build-up on the top skin layer. Instead, the energy travels through the tiny needles to the deeper skin layers. Doctors can adjust the treatment depth up to 7 levels.
This differs from other non-invasive face-lifting and tightening devices that send energy through the top skin layer. This can cause the top layer to get too hot, increasing the chance of burns, skin damage, or darkening.
Key features of Morpheus 8
The microneedle tip for energy delivery is developed to send energy into the deeper skin layers without causing the top skin layer to overheat. It barely affects the upper skin, making it safe regarding side effects like darkening or burning. Each pin head is designed for single use only and cannot be reused. Before use, every pin head is sealed in a sterilized pouch and is opened only when starting the treatment. This ensures it is clean, safe, and meets international standards. It can treat all body parts with sagging skin, such as the entire face, Neck area, arms, legs, abdomen, buttocks, and even wrinkled areas on the back of the hands, feet, knees, and elbows.

Resulting in smoother and firmer skin for sagging or cellulite areas.
Creating plumper, firmer, youthful skin.
Restoring volume to sunken or sagging facial areas for a fuller, more youthful appearance, like baby skin.
Treatment Procedure
- Apply topical anesthetic to the treatment area for approximately 45-60 minutes.
- Patients with pre-existing medical conditions or those taking certain vitamins should inform their physician at least one week before treatment.
- Energy settings and pin depth adjustments will be performed exclusively by a qualified physician based on the patient’s specific treatment needs.
- Energy levels may be slightly adjusted during treatment, depending on the patient’s pain tolerance.
- Minor pinpoint bleeding may occur during treatment; a medical assistant will cleanse the area and apply cold compresses to alleviate discomfort.
After Treatment Care
- After the physician completes the treatment, a medical assistant will apply a cold compress to the treated area for approximately 10-20 minutes.
- Following the treatment, the physician recommends avoiding makeup application and washing the face for about 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, it is recommended to continuously apply moisturizer and sunscreen for approximately 3-4 weeks.
- Small scabs may appear on the face during the first 1-2 weeks. Avoid scrubbing, exfoliating, or picking at them.
- Within 1-2 months, the skin will begin to stimulate the production of various tissues, with the most noticeable results appearing around the 3-month mark.
